Intercity trucking marketplace Raaho raises Rs.12.5 Cr from IPV, Roots Ventures, others

Gurugram-based Raaho, an on-demand intercity trucking marketplace, has raised INR 12.5 crore in pre-Series A funding led by new investors IPV and Nitish Mittersain (Founder, Nazara), with participation from existing investors Roots Ventures, Venkatesh Vijayraghavan (Group CEO, Board Member, Cavinkare), Miten Sampat from CRED and others. The company plans to use the funds to grow nationally and make the product '100% on-demand'. In three years since launch, it claims to have covered 20 million km with over 15,000 trucks, catering to a customer base of 350 shippers.
