Inventory mgmt enabler for F&B cos Explorex raises $5-M
Bengaluru-based Explorex, a startup catering to the restaurant industry, has raised USD 5 million in a funding round led by Taher Savliwala (Super Angel), Kevin Lin (co-founder, Twitch), James Park (CEO, Fitbit), Harpreet Rai (CEO, Oura) and Liron Shapira (co-founder, Relationship Hero). The funds will be used for product development and for expansion in Mumbai and Delhi. Founded by Mainak Sarkar and Pritam Khan, Explorex claims to be present across more than 15 cities. Prior to this seed round, YC-backed Explorex had raised USD 1.5 million from HOF Capital, Smaregi, Pioneer Fund, and Sevenstars Capital. Explorex offers inventory management solutions to F&B industry to manage vendors, purchase orders, and payments.
