Kettleborough VC closes maiden fund at $5-M
Kettleborough VC, an early-stage venture capital fund led by seed investor Nisarg Shah, has launched its maiden fund. It has received capital commitments of USD 5 million from LPs comprising business owners and startup founders. The fund will focus on technology-centric startups led by serial entrepreneurs and domain experts. It will invest in 8-10 companies at the seed stage, in the next 12 months, with a cheque size of USD 150,000-USD 300,000. Additionally, it will participate significantly in the follow-on rounds of its portfolio companies. Launched as a solo GP fund in 2021, Kettleborough value-adds by providing insights on revenue models to getting upstream investors and enabling business partnerships for the companies.
