Kitchen appliances maker Wonderchef in talks with Sixth Sense for fundraise

Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor-promoted kitchen appliances maker Wonderchef is in talks with several institutional investors to raise a fresh round of funding at a valuation of INR 1000-1500 crore. The Mumbai-based firm is in talks with, among others, consumer-focused venture capital fund Sixth Sense and a few family offices of consumer goods firms. Strategic suitors such as TPG-backed RR Kabel Ltd have reportedly been in the fray to pick up a stake in Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt Ltd.
