KKR acquires residual stake of Sterlite Power in IndiGrid
Electron IM Pte Ltd, an affiliate of KKR & Co, has completed the acquisition of the remaining 26% equity shares of IndiGrid Investment Managers Ltd, the investment manager of Mumbai-based, publicly listed power transmission Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT), IndiGrid, from Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd. Post this acquisition, Electron holds a 100% stake in the target company. IndiGrid owns, operates, and manages power transmission networks and renewable energy assets that deliver power throughout India.
