Laundry services portal LaundryMate raises $6.25 M from Blume Founders Funds, others
Bengaluru-based LaundryMate.in, an online laundry services brand founded by BigBasket co-founder Abhinay Choudhari, has raised USD 6.25 million in a pre-Series A funding round from Blume Founders Fund, high net worth individuals and industry executives. The investors include Ola co-founder Ankit Bhati, Deepak Goyal, managing partner, BCG, USA; Charudatta Deshpande, MD, Cilix Capital; Jignesh Bhate, CEO, Molecular Connections; Karan Singh, co-founder, Trilegal and Sandeep Gupta, MD, Broad Peak Investment Advisors, Singapore. The firm, launched in 2022, would use the funding to roll its services across 30 cities in the next 10 years. It is also in talks with investors to raise another USD 10-15 million in a Series A round. LaundryMate is an integrated service provider which owns the backend as well as the last-mile delivery. It leverages digital technology to offer ordering, tracking and delivery of laundry within 24 hours through a doorstep pick-up and delivery model.
