Legal tech firm NYAI raises $1.5 M

Pune-based NYAI has raised USD 1.5 million from a consortium of Indian family offices and angel investors.Founded in March 2025 by Chinmay Bhosale and Vikrant Labde, NYAI is a compliance-focused legal AI and regulatory intelligence platform. The company provides citation-based legal research, contract analysis, and automated document drafting specifically designed for the Indian legal system. Its AI models are trained on millions of Indian court judgments, tribunal orders, acts, rules, and regulatory updates.The company plans to use the new funds for technology development, the expansion of its AI-native compliance ecosystem, and to strengthen its presence among enterprises, listed companies, and law firms. Additionally, the capital will support the deployment and assurance functions required by these institutions. The platform supports on-premises deployment and integrates with existing large language model infrastructure to keep privileged legal data within the client's environment.
