Lifestyle brands retail chain GoodGudi raises $900-K led by AC Ventures
Bengaluru-headquartered GoodGudi, a lifestyle brands retail chain that specialises in household and consumer goods, has raised seed funding led by AC Ventures with participation from April Ventures, Capinity Partners, and angels including Kunal Shah and Aprameya Radhakrishna. The size of the round is estimated to be between USD 800,000 and 1 million. Founded by Anurag Gupta, Sagar Yarnalkar and Chandan Kumar, Goodgudi plans to set up more than 40 retail stores in the next 24 months. It will focus on offerings in categories such as home, travel accessories, gifting, fashion accessories, personal care, kitchenware, stationery, kids, and toys. Gupta and Yarnalkar were earlier the founders of e-grocery startup Dailyninja which was acquired by the Tata-owned grocery unicorn BigBasket in early 2020.
