Lighthouse plans $400-M India fund for consumer brands: report
Lighthouse Funds plans to raise a USD 400 million fund targeted at the consumer brands segment. The fund is expected to close by the end of this year. Existing investors such as International Finance Corporation (IFC) and BII as well as new investors are expected to participate in the fundraise Lighthouse raised its first fund in 2009 to the tune of USD 100 million, followed by USD 135 million in 2015 and USD 230 million in 2019. With an investment range between USD 10 million and USD 30 million, it has invested in over 25 companies.
