Lightspeed, Moore Ventures acquire Razorpay shares worth $75-M from ESOP holders, angels

Bengaluru-headquartered fintech unicorn Razorpay has attracted USD 75 million (INR 578 crore) from Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from new investor Moore Strategic Ventures. The secondary transaction saw the investor purchasing shares from the company's existing and former employees and 3 angel investors, the report said quoting a company statement.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Mar-2015 and Dec-2021, RazorPay had raised over USD 250 M from Lone Pine Capital, Alkeon Capital, TCV, Salesforce Ventures, Ribbit Capital, Matrix Partners India, GIC, Sequoia Capital India, Y Combinator Continuity Fund, Tiger Global, and Others.
