Pune-based supply chain platform FreightFox has raised USD 600,000 in a seed funding round led by Aeravti Ventures with participation from other investors. The company plans to use the funds to develop the platform and make a foray into new markets. The startup had earlier raised USD 300,000 in April 2021 before a seed round led by Mahendra Yadav and others. Co-founded in October 2020 by Nitish Rai, Manjari Sharma, Dhananjaya Shetty, Sandeep Mukhopadhyay, and Vikas Singh, FreightFox is a data-first enterprise transportation procurement and management system enabling growth through more choices, better control and certainty in decision making for manufacturing logistics. It offers reduction in the cost-to-serve with lower inventory pile-ups for manufacturing enterprises.
