MapmyIndia invests $1.25 M in travel-tech startup Kogo for 26% stake

Publicly listed MapmyIndia (CE Info Systems Ltd) has acquired a 26.37% stake in Kogo Tech Labs Pvt Ltd, a startup which offers a travel & hyperlocal discovery, recommendations, commerce, social and gamified platform, for USD 1.25 million (INR 10 crore), with an option to raise stake to 50% in two years. Launched in February 2020, Kogo has received significant interest from Automotive OEMs, who can drive post-sales engagement and build communities and engagements around their brands.
