Marketplace for manufacturing parts Zetwerk acquires 3 cos for Rs.100-Cr
Unicorn manufacturing marketplace platform Zetwerk has acquired three companies to strengthen its industrial vertical business in the segments of oil & gas, aerospace, defence, and infrastructure components. The transaction value aggregates to INR 100 crore. For the aerospace and defence manufacturing capabilities, Zetwerk acquired Bangalore-based Pinaka Aerospace Solutions. In the oil & gas segment, it purchased a majority stake in Mumbai-based SharpTanks. Zetwerk also acquired a 100% stake in the Wardha fabrication unit of listed company Wheels India, to tap into the market for critical fabricated parts for power, roads, and railways. Zetwerk provides communication solutions to Indian defence units, government research facilities such as Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Its enterprise clients include Carlisle, Tata, AVTEC, BEL, and HAL.
