Math-focused edtech platform Bhanzu raises $15-M led by Eight Roads
Hyderabad-based Bhanzu, a Maths-focused edtech platform has raised INR 119.8 crore (USD 15 million) in a funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures. B Capital also participated in the Series A round along with existing investor Lightspeed. The company has been valued at around INR 836 crore (USD 105 million) post allotment. Eight Roads Ventures has led the round with INR 87.82 crore (USD 11 million). B Capital and existing investor Lightspeed invested USD 2 million each. Following this round, its founder Prakash holds 38.62% stake followed by Lightspeed and Eight Roads with 18.59% and 10.5% stake respectively. J. Srinivas, Alluru Uday Kiran, Devulapalli Lakshmi Prachotan, and J Sai Srinivas Krishnakanth own 3.75% shares each Bhanzu offers experiential maths learning courses which enable the growth of cognitive abilities among children aged between 5 and 16 years.
