Math-focused edtech startup Bhanzu to raise $15-M
Hyderabad-based, math-focused edtech platform Bhanzu is in talks to raise USD 15 million in a Series A round led by EightRoads Ventures with participation from B Capital and existing investor Lightspeed Ventures. The Series A round follows a seed round led by Lightspeed and angel investors in February. Bhanzu provides experiential math learning courses which enhance the cognitive abilities of children from 5 to 16 years. The company had mopped up USD 2 million in its first-ever external funding. Its angel investors include Kunal Shah, Gaurav Munjal, Nitin Gupta, Maninder Gulati and Biswa Kalyan Rath.
