Math learning enabler Bhanzu raises $2-M from Lightspeed, others

Hyderabad-based edtech startup Bhanzu (formerly Exploring Infinities) has raised USD 2 million as a part of its seed funding round led by Lightspeed. The round also saw participation from angel investors and startup-founders, including Nitin Gupta, Uni CEO; Kunal Shah, Cred founder; Ashish Gupta, former Helion MD; and Gaurav Munjal, Unacademy founder, among others. Founded in 2020, Bhanzu offers a curriculum for learning mathematics. It will use the funds to scale its live classes in multiple geographies including the US, Canada, the UK, and the Middle East, and accelerate hiring across its tech and product teams.
