Mattress-maker The Sleep Company raises $22-M from Premji Invest, Fireside Ventures

Mumbai-based mattress maker The Sleep Company has attracted USD 22 million (INR 184 crore) in Series C funding from existing investors Premji Invest and Fireside Ventures. The firm had raised nearly USD 21.3 million from the same investors last year. The company is now valued at more than 2X of its previous funding round. The company will use the new funding to diversify product offerings and marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility. Founded by Harshil Salot and Priyanka Salot in 2019, the company also sells pillows, cushions, sheets, and chairs, besides mattresses. Besides online presence, it has over 60 retail stores, along with 16 experience centres across more than 20 cities.
