Mattress maker Wakefit raises Rs.200-Cr from SIG, others
Mattress brand Wakefit has raised USD 28 million (INR 200 crore) in a Series C round led by US-based SIG. The round, which received participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Verlinvest, values the company at over INR 2,800 crore. Wakefit, which sells mattresses, pillows, bed frames, mattress protector and comforter, has now expanded to include home products such as study tables, bookshelves, shoe racks, TV units, dining tables and other furniture categories. .
