Meat retailer Fipola in talks to raise funds for store expansion

Chennai-based meat and seafood retailer Fipola is in talks with venture capital firms to fund its expansion and aims to have 250 outlets across India by 2023. The company has targeted INR 140 crore in revenues by the end of the current financial year. Fipola is to set up 26 retail outlets in Karnataka by March 2022. The brand operates 48 stores in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, including 10 in Bengaluru, and plans to have 100 plus stores by the end of March 2022.
