MSME-focused fintech startup mewt raises $4.6 M from Quona Capital, Beenext, others
mewt, a Bengaluru-based banking super-app for micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs), has raised USD 4.6 million in its seed round led by Quona Capital, with participation from existing investor Beenext, DG Daiwa Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Allin Capital, and a clutch of angels. The company will use the funds to expand its team and launch a debit card. Founded by Rishabh Jain and Kushal Prakash, mewt offers alternative business banking solutions to cash-strapped MSMEs.
