News content firm The Morning Context raises addl seed funding
Mumbai-based news content provider The Morning Context (TMC) has raised pre Series A funding led by Whiteboard Capital, with participation from Kunal Shah, Natasha Mehta, Aprameya Radhakrishna and others. Since its launch in September 2019, TMC has reached more than 40,000 readers, which includes paying subscribers, institutional subscriptions across companies and colleges and registered users. Over the past year, it has raised grant support from the Rainmatter Foundation, funding from the Google News Initiative and closed a seed investment round.
