NY-based social platform for investors Stocktwits raises $30-M from Alameda, Times Bridge, others
New York-based Stocktwits, a social platform for investors and traders across all asset classes including stocks, crypto, and other emerging investments, has raised USD 30 million in Series B funding led by Alameda Research Ventures, with participation from Times Bridge, the global investments and venture arm of The Times Group. They will join existing investors True Ventures, Foundry Group, ffVC and Social Leverage. Stocktwits will use the fresh funds to further develop the platform and expand its product offerings. The portfolio integration offering is coming out of beta and has already connected more than USD 1 Billion in assets.
