Oil & gas industry AI-solutions provider Detect Technologies raises $25-M led by Prous Ventures
Chennai-based industrial artificial intelligence startup Detect Technologies has raised INR 195 crore (USD 25 million) in a new round led by Prous Ventures (previously Naspers). Existing investors of the company also participated. Prosus led the round with INR 97.66 crore while existing backers Accel India, Elevation Capital, Bharat Innovation Fund and Shell Ventures participated with INR 39 crore, INR 43 crore, INR 6.83 crore and INR 8.78 crore respectively. Detect's products also help in predictive maintenance of oil & gas pipelines and predict leakages. The company's clients include industrial giants such as Shell, Tata Steel, ExxonMobil, and Adani Group.
