Online community for elders GenWise raises $3.5 M led by Matrix
GenWise, a Delhi-based startup founded by former executives of digital payment platform BharatPe, has raised USD 3.5 million from Matrix Partners India and other investors in its first round of fund raising. The startup is creating an online community for elders and their family members. GenWise will offer products across finance, wellness, commerce, payments and social networking. It will also provide personalized sessions for elders to help navigate existing mobile services and daily activities. GenWise is likely to be valued at around USD 6-8 million post-funding.
