Online gaming firm Hit Wicket raises $3-M
Homegrown multiplayer cricket gaming startup Hitwicket has raised USD 3 million from Prime Venture Partners. The startup will use the new funding to create a strategy-driven gaming studio and to scale up features across its multiplayer game. The startup was part of the Google Game Accelerator programme in 2018 and aims to become the first mobile esports IP in the cricket games category in the country. The gaming platform also plans to foray into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and blockchain gaming
