Online school for coding Camp K12 raises $12-M from Elevation Capital, Matrix
Ed-tech startup Camp K12 has raised USD 12 million in its Series A round, co-led by Matrix Partners India and Elevation Capital. The company will use the capital to hire leadership talent across functions, scale-up operations and marketing and to build an engineering and product team. Camp K12 is an online school that teaches coding, English and other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) topics to children (in the 5-18 age group) via live, interactive, gamified sessions. Students learn one-on-one with private teachers, or in small groups with friends.
