Open source data-infra platform Dozer raises $3-M led by Sequoia Capital India, Surge

Dozer, a Singapore-headquartered open-source data infrastructure platform, has raised USD 3 million in a seed round of funding led by Sequoia Capital India and Southeast Asia's Surge. The round also saw participation of Gradient Ventures and January Capital. The company plans to use the funds to scale product and expand its engineering team. Co-founded by Matteo Pelati and Vivek Gudapuri, Dozer claims to enable engineers to build APIs from multiple data sources seamlessly. The platform connects with databases such as Postgres and MySQL, data warehouses such as Snowflake and the Ethereum ledger, allowing engineers to build scalable real-time data applications.
