Open source test automation platform Testsigma raises $4.6 M from Accel, Strive, others

Bengaluru-based Testsigma, an open source test automation platform, has raised USD 4.6 million in seed funding led by Accel India and Strive VC, with participation from BoldCap and a group of angel investors. The angels included Freshworks executives Shanmugam Krishnasamy, Kiran Darisi and Parsuram Vijayasankar; Vetri Vellore, CEO of Ally.io; Nitesh Banta, CEO at B12; Ioann Fainsilber, co-founder at Pintek. Testsigma enables software development teams to test and release products quickly, continuously, and at scale. The company, founded by Rukmangada Kandyala, Pratheep Velicherla, Vikram Chaitanya, and Rajesh Reddy in 2019, will use the capital to strengthen the core engineering and product team and to build alongside and for a global community of testers, test automation engineers, and developers.
