OTT platform Stage raises $2.5 M from Blume Ventures, others
Stage, an Indore-based dialect-focused OTT platform, has raised USD 2.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Blume Ventures and Better Capital. The round also saw participation from angel investors / syndicates including Inflection Point Ventures, TCA (The Chennai Angels), Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Aprameya Radhakrishan, Akshat Rathee and Roman Saini. The startup has also raised funds from YouTubers-turned-influencers Ranveer Allahabadia and Dhruv Rathee. Stage will use the funds to scale its content base from Haryanvi to other languages starting with Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi and Bundeli. It also plans to expand its team, technology and reach.
