Overseas education enabler ASL raises $5-M from CSVP Fund, others
Mumbai-based Adventum Student Living (ASL), a study-abroad platform that owns the UniAcco, UniCreds and UniScholars brands, has raised USD 5 million in a bridge equity round led by new investor Cornerstone Venture Partners Fund (CSVP Fund). The other participants in the funding round were existing investors. The startup aims to raise USD 20 million in its Series B round. The fresh capital is expected to help ASL expand its product offerings to meet the needs of students, universities, educators, and administrators. It will also be used to deepen partnerships in the UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, and the US. The company, founded in 2019, had previously raised USD 5 million in a pre-series B round, from Suresh Pareek, founder of pharmaceutical company Ideal Cures, and Vikas Phadnis, co-founder of EuroKids through his vehicle Auctus Capital, among others.
