Overseas jobs portal for workers Kovon raises $250-K led by TDV Partners
Bengaluru-based Kovon , a cross-border workforce mobility platform, has raised USD 250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners.Founded in 2024 by Bibartan Roy and Swayamjeet Das, Kovon connects India's blue and grey-collar workforce to overseas job opportunities in sectors including healthcare, hospitality, construction, and logistics. The platform provides an end-to-end service, encompassing job discovery, upskilling, financing, placement, and post-deployment support.The new funds will be allocated to product development, establishing global employer partnerships, candidate acquisition, and expanding its skilling and training ecosystem. The company also plans to hire personnel across its technology, operations, and partnerships divisions.
