Peak XV Surge picks 7 Indian startups for 9th cohort

Venture Capital firm Peak XV has announced the launch of the ninth cohort of its accelerator and incubation programme, Surge, featuring 13 early-stage startups. Seven out of the 13 startups are based in India. The 7 Indian startups are: Elivaas: Founded in 2023 by Karan Miglani and Ritwik Khare, Elivaas is a tech-driven villa and luxury apartment management platform that allows owners to monetise, monitor, and maintain their vacation homes in India. Ethereal Machines: Founded in 2014 by Kaushik Mudda, Navin Jain, Ethereal Machines produces precision engineering components through its proprietary multi-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines. InCore: Founded in 2018 by Arjun Menon, Gautam Doshi, GS Madhusudan and Neel Gala, InCore is a fabless semiconductor startup that focuses on building RISC-V-based processor solutions for industries, including industrial automation and consumer electronics. Mindgrove: Founded in 2022 by Sharan Srinivas J and Shashwath T R, Mindgrove designs cost-effective and scalable microprocessor technology in India for the global semiconductor market. The startup designs system-on-chips (SoCs), which are integrated circuits that combine all the elements of an electronic device onto a single chip instead of separate components. Newtrace: Founded in 2021 by Prasanta Sarkar and Rochan Sinha, Newtrace is a climate tech startup that manufactures innovative electrolyzers to produce green hydrogen efficiently and affordably. ZeroK: Founded in 2023, by Mudit Krishna Mathur, Varun Ramamurthy, Samyukktha Thirumeni, and Shivam Nagar, ZeroK is an AI platform that helps developers troubleshoot production incidents faster, guiding them to to identify root causes faster, reducing downtime. The seventh startup is currently under stealth mode. It's an AI platform that helps software teams increase productivity by providing contextual answers for their codebase.
