Pet parenting app Sploot raises $800-K from Info Edge, others
Delhi-based pet-parenting mobile app Sploot has raised USD 800,000 in seed funding led by Info Edge's subsidiary Redstart Labs. Sploot is also backed by Akshay Chaturvedi, founder and CEO of LeverageEdu and Fly; Yatish Talvadia, serial entrepreneur; Sanjay Singh, former executive at PayTM; and Aryan Mhaiskar and others participating via the Grip Invest platform. The company, started by Garima Kaushal and Arnav Sahni, aims to use the funds to expand services, including dog walking and grooming, as well as offering ready-to-feed dog food, besides expanding to new geographies.
