Physics Motors raises funding from US-based serial entrepreneur Dr. Kiran Patel
Physics Motors Technology Pvt Ltd, a Hubballi, Karnataka-based electric vehicle (EV) drive train technology manufacturing company, has raised pre-Series A funding from Indian-American cardiologist and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Kiran Patel who has acquired more than 30% stake in the company. Pantomath Capital Advisors was the sole investment banker to the transaction. Founded by Deepak Jadhav, Physics Motors has developed hub motors and mid motors of various power specifications for the Indian EV market specifically for 2W EV application. Physics Motors claims to have the capabilities to design and manufacture custom motors for EV OEM's.
