Plant-based meat brand Greenest raises funding led by Better Bite Ventures
Plant-based protein brand Greenest has raised funding in a pre-seed round from Better Bite Ventures and Sachid Madan (the former CEO for fresh fruits and vegetables vertical at ITC). The Delhi-based startup will use the funds for hiring talent and for product portfolio expansion and also to increase its distribution footprint. Founded in 2017 by Gaurav Sharma, Greenest offers plant-based mock meat products through business-to-business (B2B) partnerships. Its partners include Burgrill, Wat-a-Burger, Chocolate Room, Biggies Burger, Freshmenu, and Eatfit - covering nearly 200 stores.
