Platform for streaming sports events SportVot raises funding from Ankur Capital, others
SportVot, a Mumbai-headquartered sportstech company, has raised seed funding in a round led by Ankur Capital. The round also saw participation from Capital A, SucSEED Indovation Fund and Marwah Sports. SportVot enables streaming and offers a layer of tools to edit, analyze and share the videos across various channels. It claims to have streamed over 18,000 sports matches, amassing 75 million views and featuring over 90,000 upcoming athletes. The platform also enables scouts to source talent from remote areas. The funding will be used to scale product and technology, and expand into new geographies across the country and bring access to live video capture to as many sports games as possible.
