Portfolio mgmt co Piper Serica sets up Rs.100-Cr angel fund
Mumbai-based portfolio management company Piper Serica has launched a Category 1 Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) – an angel fund with a corpus of INR 100 crore to invest in early-stage startups. The tech-focussed fund will invest between INR 2.5 Cr-INR 3 Cr each in about 30-40 startups over the next three years. The fund will use its AI tool Yoda.ai to narrow down startups for investment.
