Premium sweets brand Khoya raises Rs.6-Cr from Riga Foods, others
Delhi-brd Lone Star Hospitality, which owns the Indian luxury sweets brand Khoya, has raised INR 6 crore led by chef Ritu Dalmia's Riga Foods. (Riga is a family office portfolio firm of Max Group chairman Analjit Singh.) Other investors, including Priya Paul, also participated in the round. The funds will be used to expand into new categories of connected consumer products. The firm also plans to expand its retail footprint in more cities in India and also enter overseas markets. Khoya creates and distributes premium traditional mithai and luxury confectionary goods directly to customers.
