Psychiatric in-patient platform Sukoon Healthcare raises $15-M from Lightrock India
Lightrock India has acquired a significant stake in Delhi-based psychiatric in-patient unit Sukoon Healthcare by investing USD 15 million. Post transaction, Saleem Asaria, partner at Lightrock India, will take over as the Executive Chairman of the company. The founders of the company Vidit Bahri and Kanishk Gupta will continue in senior leadership roles. Sukoon claims to have treated over 11,000 patients suffering from a spectrum of conditions across in-patient and out-patient services. It will expand its services to Bengaluru and Mumbai.
