Quick-commerce firm BazaarNow in talks with Prosus for Rs.150-Cr
Dutch technology investor Prosus is in talks to invest about INR 150-Cr in Mysuru-headquartered quick-commerce company BazaarNow . The potential transaction values the company at around INR 900-Cr.BazaarNow was founded by former Zepto executives Priyanshu Jain, Arjun Harish, and Tarithmay Mandal. The company focuses on selling groceries and daily essentials, with a specific emphasis on regional brands and local products in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. In June, the company raised INR 72-Cr from investors, including Peak XV Partners.BazaarNow intends to use its regional assortment strategy to penetrate smaller markets that have seen limited expansion from larger players.
