Reliance in talks to acquire skin-care brand Wow: report

ChrysCapital-backed beauty and personal care brand Wow Skin Science is in late-stage talks with Reliance Retail for an acquisition. Wow Skin Science has been finding it difficult to raise a new round which has prompted the firm to explore merger and acquisition options. Wow's beauty and personal care products are available across e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Nykaa. It also sells through its own website as well as brick-and-mortar stores. It also has operations in the US. In April last year, ChrysCapital had invested USD 50 million in the company for a minority stake.
