Reproductive healthcare player Janani.life raises $2.2 M from Y Combinator, Olive Tree Capital

Bengaluru-based reproductive health focused Janani.life has raised USD 2.2 million in growth capital from Y Combinator (YC), Olive Tree Capital and Good Water Capital. Soma Capital, Brightlane VC, NB Ventures along with angel investors such as D S Brar, chairman GVK life science, and Avendus Capital's founder Gaurav Deepak, also participated. The company helps people suffering from lifestyle disorders find discrete solutions at home and would use the funds to build its technology stack, initiate full-fledged operations across major cities and ramp up its brand building and marketing activities. Last year, Janani raised a seed round of around USD 1.5 million in a round led by Venture Catalysts, Inflection Point Ventures, and Apollo Hospitals.
