Restaurant mgmt software firm Petpooja raises $4.5 M from Aroa Ventures, Udaan, others
Ahmedabad-based restaurant POS and management software Petpooja has raised USD 4.5 million in a Series B round led by Aroa Ventures. Existing investor Udaan, along with GVFL, Dr Mayur Desai and other angel investors, also participated in the round. The company will use the funds to bring onboard more than 1.5 lakh outlets over the next two years, expand operations across the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and facilitate bulk purchases of ingredients and equipment by restaurants. Founded in 2014 by Apurv and Parthiv Patel, Petpooja offers a complete restaurant operating system, with a suite of modules required by F&B outlets, including inventory management, CRM, online ordering, payments, and analytics.
