Rural fintech startup Jai Kisan raises $18-M from Blume, Mirae, Unitary Fund, others

Mumbai-based rural fintech startup Jai Kisan has raised INR 142 crore (USD 18 million) in a Series B round of funding. Existing backer Blume Ventures spearheaded this round with INR 31.20 crore while Mirae Asset Venture, Unitary Fund and Cephalopod Teknik Fund participated with INR 23.7 crore, INR 19.5 crore and INR 13.4 crore respectively. Fintech fund GMO, Yara Growth Ventures and DG Lab Fund invested INR 15.58 crore each while others collectively put in INR 7.71 crore. Jai Kisan offers credit for transactions in online and offline rural commerce environments to individuals and rural businesses.
