Rural India focused Karma Primary Healthcare raises funding
Udaipur-headquartered Karma Primary Healthcare has raised Series A round of funding from Innospark Ventures, 1Crowd, Innovative Directions, Aanshi LLP, and various angels. The startup will use the funding to add 55 more clinics to its current network of 25 clinics, across seven states. Karma Healthcare provides affordable, accessible and quality primary healthcare in rural/semi-urban areas using a judicious mix of technology and on-ground interventions to improve health outcomes. Karma operates ‘e-Doctor' clinics in rural/semi-urban India providing nurse-assisted online medical consultations by qualified doctors, diagnostic services and referral services to secondary/ tertiary care through a financially sustainable model.
