School fee payments enabler Financepeer raises $38-M led by QED Fund

Bengaluru-based school-education focused lending platform Financepeer has raised INR 288.5 crore (about USD 38 million) in a Series B round. QED Fund has led the round with an infusion of INR 81.4 crore (USD 10.7 million). Kaizen PE and FMO (the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank) invested INR 52.72 crore each. Aavishkaar India Fund, Capri Global Holdings, and Ardent Venture Fund invested INR 44.4 crore, INR 20 crore, and INR 14.8 crore respectively. Nandan Chandavarkar (INR 10 crore), 9Unicorns (INR 7.5 crore), and Ameya Chandavarkar (INR 5 crore) invested the rest. The company enables parents to repay tuition fees in monthly installments and provides ancillary services.
