Second hand goods focused e-commerce platform FreeUp raises funding
VC investors Elevation Capital and Accel Partners have joined hands to back Bengaluru-based social commerce platform FreeUp, promoted by Bangalore-based Selsom Technologies Pvt Ltd. Co-founded by Jimmy Yeoh and Aakash Bhotika, FreeUp is a peer-to-peer online commerce platform where anyone can sell their pre-owned goods, unused goods or goods that they make at home. It claims to service over 26,000+ pincodes across India, providing doorstep pickup and delivery for a wide array of products including fashion, kids, home, beauty, books, gadgets, and more.
