Sequoia Surge announces 8th cohort

Surge, Sequoia Capital India's accelerator program, has launched its eighth cohort, featuring 12 companies across India and SE Asia. Surge 08 includes startups that are building futuristic products across climate tech, AI, metaverse, digital health, new consumer brands and new models of e-commerce. The 12 startups that made it to the eighth cohort include Arintra, AltWorld, Bifrost, Calyx Global, Diri Care, Masterchow, Metastable Materials, RedBrick AI, Requestly, Tentang Anak, Vaaree, and Meragi. Sequoia would invest USD 1- 3 million in pre-seed and seed rounds for these startups. After the addition of the eighth cohort, the surge community has 130 startups across 16 industries.
