Shapoorji Pallonji in talks with global funds to set up $1.5 B investment platforms
Shapoorji Pallonji Investment Advisors is in talks with global institutional investors including pension and sovereign funds to set up three platforms worth over USD 1.5 billion for joint investments in commercial properties, data centres and student housing across India. Each of these joint investment platforms will have equity funding of USD 500 million and will be investing close to USD 1 billion, including the leverage, in these real estate segments that are emerging as independent asset classes with strong growth potential. The total assets to be held through these platforms to be set up as special purpose vehicles (SPVs) will be over USD 3 billion post full deployment,
