Skill-showcasing enabler XOOG raises $150-K

XOOG, a Bengaluru-based socio ed-tech startup, has raised USD 150,000 from institutional and individual investors including Seetharaman Thiruvenkatam, Kavitha Seetharaman, Prasad Prabhakaran and Prashanth Prabhakaran. The round also saw participation from existing investor Marwari Catalysts, a startup accelerator. The seed capital will be used for enhancing the ecosystem for talent showcasing and enrichment, to onboard more users using performance marketing, expand product engineering team and for expanding footprint in India as well as globally. Founded by Karishma Seetharaman and Ritvik Raj Prasannakumar in 2020, XOOG provides a platform with skill clubs for students to showcase, compete and earn rewards.
